CYF Mission Trip 2012: Detroit, MI
19 of us are leaving for a Youth Mission Trip in just a few hours. We will be headed to Chicago first where we will sleep and worship with another church. We will then head off on the second leg of the drive to our final destination: Detroit, MI! Check out this blog that will be updated with pictures, quotes and updates of our week.... I am sure there will be laughs, goofy pictures and inspirational moments for all to enjoy!

LAST day of work, we all learned a lot and i met a lot of people. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to next year, & i'm so glad we helped Susan & John. They were the sweetest people & of course... I enjoyed the doughnuts he brought!

It was an awesome week, and I think we all got to know each other a little better. A lot was accomplished these few days for just being a bunch of kids without experience.

My first mission trip, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was the most fun I have had in a long time. Laughed so hard I cried. Cant wait to do another one. Met lots of new friends I will never forget.

Work Day 4: We're kind of tired... (By: Jackson)
Today, we painted, caulked, and put in flooring.
This is the hardwood floors we put in. Not attached, obviously...
Mayce claimed Curtis' hair and proceeded to make it into a bun...
I had to caulk... a lot...
